July 6, 2010

The 4th of July was fun. Paul and I went down to Excelsior for their fireworks. They're always pretty good and they have the MN Orchestra playing for free before the fireworks start. It's a lot of fun!

The second half of my summer classes started today. I still have my Math class, but switched out my Theology class for a History/Women's Studies class. I'll now only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bummer is that I'll be on campus from 9am-9:15pm on those two days. I have a feeling already, that it'll mean I'll have homework-free weekends. I suppose that's something to be happy about.

This weekend Paul and I will be making a trip down to Iowa. We're going for my Brother's wedding on Saturday. I'm super excited for it! I'll be acting as a photographer for a lot of the events so I've been reading up on wedding photography and digital photography techniques. It should be a lot of fun. I'm also excited to see a lot of relatives I haven't seen in a really long time and to also introduce Paul to more family.

I'm going to go read some Dracula and eat dinner before my 6pm class this evening.
