St. Catherine University

This is the quad area right outside of the Coeur de Catherine (CDC).

The building to the left is the CDC. This is the "commons" area. The cafeteria, library, bookstore, post office, market place, organization offices, coffee shop, and special events halls are all there. It's really nice inside.
Our Lady of Victory Chapel. It has beautiful brick-work.

This walkway connect the chapel/campus ministry and Derham Hall.
This is a side view of Derham Hall. The front is really cool, they have these huge black rocking chairs. This is the main door to the chapel. The stone carvings on this building are beautiful.

This is a close-up of one of the carvings on the chapel. I think it's a lion eating a goat.
On the right is St. Catherine.
This view is absolutely beautiful. You can see super far out in the distance. In the foreground you can see one of the gardens.
The landscaping and gardening is outstanding on campus. I love it!
Another view of the CDC from the back.
The chapel again. I know I've posted a lot of picture of the chapel already but it's so cool looking. Plus, this one has the "rose window," which is the University symbol.
This is Dew Drop Pond. Ducks are always in there. It's a great spot to go and forget your at school or that you're in the middle of city.
Ducks chillin' out.
Part of the rose garden. It was a lot prettier in the summer.
The English Garden outside of Whitby Hall. I just discovered this today. It's gorgeous! I have two classes at Whitby this semester.
One of the gated entrances.
Cool statue outside of Cecilian Hall.
Entrance to the Visual Art Building. Love the statue outfront and the huge doors. I have my clay sculpture course in the basement here.
Another view of the statue.
The backside of the Visual Arts Building. It's all windows. I think that's really awesome.
Typical sidewalk at St. Kate's. Lined with gorgeous flowers. I'll be sad when winter comes around.
This is the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium. We've had people like Tracy Chapman play there. Maya Angelou comes every other year (she's coming this year).
Painted bench outside of Fontbonne Hall. There are a lot of painted benches around campus, but this is my favorite so far.
This is the front of Fontbonne Hall. It's rumored that this building was built by two architects who could not agree so they split up the building and both did their own thing. People I've talked to say that there are hallways that go no where, staircases that go into walls. Apparently it's a really weird building inside. I have yet to explore it.
I found this lantern in the back of Fontbonne and thought it was really cool. On the inside is a pelican. Next to the ivy it was gorgeous.
